Tour Fátima and Coimbra

Fatima is one of the largest and most important places of pilgrimage in the world, and the largest in Portugal, with millions of visitors a year. The modern church of the Holy Trinity, built in 2007, is a point of reference for the Sanctuary, as well as the home of the three little shepherds to whom the virgin Mary appeared.
In Coimbra, meet one of the oldest European universities, the University of Coimbra. 

Itinerário/Itinerary

Saída do hotel em direção a Fátima. Chegados a Fátima, iniciamos o tour visitando o Santuário da Nossa Senhora, ao chegarmos visitaremos a Capelinha das Aparições, local onde apareceu Nossa Senhora de Fátima aos Pastorinhos em 1917 e à Basílica da Santíssima Trindade. Por último a visita à Casa dos Três Pastorinhos onde se deu a aparição do Anjo de Portugal. Tempo para almoço num restaurante tipico. Em Coimbra, visitaremos a prestigiada Universidade de Coimbra, considerada Património da Humanidade pela UNESCO, assim como a sua biblioteca Joanina. De seguida partimos para o Mosteiro de Santa Clara-a-Velha, onde poderemos ver o túmulo da Rainha Isabel de Aragão.

Departure from the hotel towards Fátima. Arriving in Fátima, we begin the tour visiting the Sanctuary of Our Lady. On arrival we will visit the Chapel of the Apparitions, where Our Lady of Fatima appeared to the Shepherds in 1917 and the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity. Finally the visit to the House of Three Shepherds where the Angel of Portugal appeared. Time for lunch in a typical restaurant. In Coimbra, we will visit the prestigious University of Coimbra, considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, as well as its Joanina library. Then we leave for the Monastery of Santa Clara-a-Velha, where we can see the tomb of Queen Isabel of Aragon.
